Bolton and Walt Whitman
The amazing story of Bolton’s links to the great American poet and singer of ‘comradeship and sensuality’, Walt Whitman, is told in my book With Walt Whitman in Bolton: sprituality, sex and socialism in a Northern Milltown. Normally seels at £10. I’m doing a special offer of £6 per copy (plus postage if not local), or £10 for this and The Works.
I’m selling copies of the excellent Poetry from the Platform, published by Bolton Station Community Partnership, at £5. All sales go to the station partnership which is developing the superb Platform 5 Gallery at the station.
